You might have heard of her "Barbie" poems in her book Kinky. Her poetry is multidimensional: funny, poignant, and sometimes painful. The first poem of Two and Two is titled "Noah and Joan," which she wrote after discovering "that 20 pecent of Americans believe / that Noah (of Noah's Ark) was married / to Joan of Arc." There you go.

We have a signed copy waiting for you.

To hear Duhamel read some of her poetry, go to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfhrZKDeFyw

If you want to know more about her, go to: http://www.poets.org/poet.php/prmPID/33

Contains some mature content.

Marjane Satrapi's Persepolis

I had the opportunity to listen to Marjane Satrapi talk about her Persepolis graphic novels (or comics if you prefer) and her film, which was nominated for an Academy Award.
